I got a four-day weekend this week due to the holiday. I had plans for getting all kinds of chores taken care of. I did a few things Tuesday, but for the other three days I just sat around the apartment. The carpet still needs to be vacuumed, the library books which are due tomorrow still need to be taken back, my clothes still need to be laundered, Binky still needs to go to the vet (some sort of discharge from his penis), my car still needs to be sold. I hate myself. I'll probably die alone with no friends and nothing to show for having lived.

Day before yesterday, I went to Buford Famers Market and got, among other items, a bag of hot (wasabi) roasted peas. I ate a bunch of them before I went to bed that night, and I haven't been able to taste certain things since then. Salt, in particular, I can't detect at all, except for a little bit underneath my tongue (I discovered this last night when I realized I was practically coating pieces of soon dae in the seasoned salt that comes with it and still thinking "needs more salt"). I hope this clears up soon.
I always get those peas when I got to Doraville. I don't know what was different this time.
I'm on my lunch break right now, eating a burger and fries from McDonald's. I can see the salt sprinkled all over the fries, but I only get hints of the taste from the underside of my tongue.
Thank the gods I can still taste sugar!

I moved all the 3D Asteroids posts to their own blog.
