Well, mostly done. It was getting late by the time I started to head back from my friends' apartment, so I skipped the Buford Farmers Market and the grocery shopping.

The plan for today:
Date: Tue 20 December 2005
Time: 9:04 PM EST
Up until yesterday, whenever I wanted to go to Doraville, I would ride the bus to the train station, take the train to Atlanta where I would transfer to a different train, and finally ride that train to Doraville. Last weekend, Joe called and asked if I would check on his cat while he and his girlfriend were on vacation. Since my car doesn't work, the answer depended on whether MARTA could get me within walking distance of their apartment in Doraville. So I went to MARTA's web site and looked for the bus route that runs closest to their place. By happy chance, the route that runs closest also runs through Tucker. This is good because the route that runs by my apartment also runs through Tucker. I had found a quicker way to Doraville! Instead of going bus-<train-<train (and going around my ass to get to my elbow), now it's just bus-<bus, and much more of a straight shot than going through Atlanta. Now my trips to the Buford Highway Farmers Market won't take 3.5 hours round-trip. Hopefully now it will be more like 2.5 hours. I rode out to Joe's place yesterday, and the trip out took a little more than an hour.
