I just got off the "phone" (i.e., TeamSpeak) with my dad, and he says he doesn't mind if I move in with him later this year when my apartment lease is up. So now I'm going to quit my job at the end of February and dedicate my time to working on the backup server business. Hopefully I will have it ready to launch by the time I move, and I will get a min-wage job in Lenoir to keep the business going until it starts turning a profit.
Ow, My Aching Back

I messed up something in my lower back when I pulled Binky out of his cat carrier at the vet this afternoon. It has been hurting since then, and I can barely walk. The last time something like this happened, I was limping for a couple of months (November - December, 2002).

I stayed home sick from work today, which turned out to be a very lucky thing. This afternoon, I noticed that Binky was again unable to pee. I've got a taxi on the way now to take us to the vet.
