Chimney Hatch

Yesterday I was bored so I decided to play with fire. I threw some paper trash (opened bill envelopes mostly) that had been sitting on my dining room table forever into the fireplace. I went to open the hatch at the top of the fireplace for the smoke to get out, when I saw by match light that it was already open. I am starting to understand why my gas bill has been so high.

The doctor didn't find anything wrong with Barney. He ate some special canned food while he was there, and she said he might just be tired of his old food. I'm going to go grocery shopping todayl, so I'll get some different kinds of cat food.
Barney's Sick

Barney has been acting like he feels yucky for the last week. We're going to leave to go to the vet in about half an hour.
