The title of the following YouTube video is "Magnets interact from over 6 feet... NOT LEVITATION!!!"
The guy suspends a horizontal stack of magnets above the floor with a string. Then, from six feet away, he uses another magnet to make the hanging stack spin. It's a nice demonstration of how far the influence of a magnetic field can reach under the right circumstances.
Now, follow the link and count how many commentors say the vid is faked because they can see the string.

This is an interesting grammatical shortcut I've noticed recently. Instead of saying that something needs to be done, people are just saying that something needs done. "That broken machine needs fixed. My cat needs fed. Your files need organized." I wonder which English-speaking regions this is common in.
